古籍糸柳自《四庫全書》中手抄字體而來。清代乾隆朝彙編的《四庫全書》，是中國史上最大規模的圖書編輯工程，集成了歷代重要古籍，卷帙浩繁，卻以人工抄寫的方式歷時多年完成。當中楷書字形如糸柳般繁華茂盛、充滿活力，尤其是撇、捺之際的筆劃線條，柔軟似柳葉，隨風搖曳、姿態動人。適合內文和直式書寫。
